Youth News

TUMY Fellowship gathers regularly on Sunday afternoons during the school year: 12:00-3:00pm for all youth in grades 6-12; unless otherwise announced. We begin with lunch together each week.

Here’s what’s happening:

October 6 – Food Drive Prep
Following our small group Bible Study breakouts we will be preparing material for our food drive. Among some other activities, we will be stapling information sheets to the grocery bags for delivery the following week.
October 13 – Food Drive Part 1
Following our lunch together, we will split into 3 groups to drop off empty grocery bags, with information attached, to 3 nearby neighborhoods.
October 20 – Food Drive Part 2
Following our lunch together, we will split into the same 3 groups to pick up full grocery bags and deliver the donations to Bethlehem House of Bread. Plan to be picked up from BHOB around 3:15pm.
October 27 – Rest & Renew
Mark 4:38a says, “Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion.” How do you find rest? After a busy food drive, let’s explore rest this week.

  • What they’re saying…

I spent about 2 years enjoying Jubilatte’s warm inviting atmosphere. I’d drink coffee while my kids played in the play area. It was in Jubilatte that I met and began to form relationships with church members and also Pastor Jeremy. When we decided to start attending Sunday worship, it was clear to me what an impact Jubilatte had on my family’s life. Tigard UMC is where we belong. I’m not sure if we would have discovered that if it wasn’t for Jubilatte.
