Youth News

TUMY Fellowship gathers regularly on Sunday afternoons during the school year: 12:00-3:00pm for all youth in grades 6-12; unless otherwise announced. We begin with lunch together each week.

Here’s what’s happening:

December 30 – No TUMY

Enjoy the Christmas break from school.

January 6 – Aha!

Have you ever had a great epiphany moment? There’s a story about some wise men that experienced exactly that. At 2:00pm we will send off our middle school youth to volunteer with Messy Church preparations while the high school youth continue with our series of lessons on the topic of Healthy Relationships.

January 13 – Emmanuel, Lamb of God

Who exactly was Jesus? What do you know about him and what can we find out? Let’s find out more!

January 18-21 – Winter Youth Retreat

January 20 – No TUMY

It’d be hard to be at the church on Sunday when most of us will be in the mountains for the winter retreat.

January 27 – Signal Strength

Do you ever have those moments when you feel like you are experiencing a strong, full LTE connection to God or others? Other times it can feel like there is something seriously wrong with your wifi router. Let’s explore some ways to improve upon our connections and remove some interference.

Upcoming Events:

      • Winter Youth Retreat – January 18-21
      • Winterhawks Suite Family Event – February 17
      • Prayer-a-Thon – February 22-23

  • What they’re saying…

I spent about 2 years enjoying Jubilatte’s warm inviting atmosphere. I’d drink coffee while my kids played in the play area. It was in Jubilatte that I met and began to form relationships with church members and also Pastor Jeremy. When we decided to start attending Sunday worship, it was clear to me what an impact Jubilatte had on my family’s life. Tigard UMC is where we belong. I’m not sure if we would have discovered that if it wasn’t for Jubilatte.
