Youth News

TUMY Fellowship gathers regularly on Sunday afternoons during the school year: 12:00-3:00pm for all youth in grades 6-12; unless otherwise announced. We begin with lunch together each week.

Here’s what’s happening:

November 4 – Up In The Air

Nine square that is! Lunch will be provided by the men’s group and following lunch we will have some fun playing the game with them. Our game was purchased by the men’s group so this will be a fun time to show them how it’s played! The last hour of our program time will be spent a little differently this week. At 2:00pm we will send off our middle school youth to volunteer with Messy Church preparations while the high school youth begin our series of lessons on the topic of Healthy Relationships.

November 11 – Thanksgiving Olympics

You know there’s a time at Thanksgiving that you wish you could get a little messy and crazy and maybe even play with your food (sculpting mashed potato volcanoes…) don’t do that at dinner – join us for that!

November 18 – Spiritual Types

What spiritual type are you? Don’t know? Come join us to find out. By taking a short assessment, we will have a better understanding about how you can connect better to your faith

November 25 – No TUMY

With Thanksgiving celebrations happening, we will not be meeting.

  • What they’re saying…

I spent about 2 years enjoying Jubilatte’s warm inviting atmosphere. I’d drink coffee while my kids played in the play area. It was in Jubilatte that I met and began to form relationships with church members and also Pastor Jeremy. When we decided to start attending Sunday worship, it was clear to me what an impact Jubilatte had on my family’s life. Tigard UMC is where we belong. I’m not sure if we would have discovered that if it wasn’t for Jubilatte.
