community

At Tigard UMC we think it’s important to find ways to serve the community and put your faith into action. Our congregation is active in the community both through volunteering and through offering opportunities to the community. Whether it’s preparing meals for homeless families, hosting at an emergency shelter, participating in a Habitat for Humanity project, helping with the Bethlehem Food Pantry, bringing children to Play Park, sharing coffee with a friend at Jubilatte, or a host of other opportunities. We can help you find a way to experience the joy of making a difference in and engaging with our community.

  • What they’re saying…

I spent about 2 years enjoying Jubilatte’s warm inviting atmosphere. I’d drink coffee while my kids played in the play area. It was in Jubilatte that I met and began to form relationships with church members and also Pastor Jeremy. When we decided to start attending Sunday worship, it was clear to me what an impact Jubilatte had on my family’s life. Tigard UMC is where we belong. I’m not sure if we would have discovered that if it wasn’t for Jubilatte.
