Life is messy….Got faith?

Messy Church Training: Saturday, May 6, 10:00am – 4:00pm at Tigard UMC
Rev. Roberta Egli, pastor of Trinity UMC in Eugene, is the regional coordinator for Messy Church for the Greater Pacific Northwest Area. She will come to Tigard UMC for a one day training event. Pastor Roberta’s church has been hosting monthly Messy Church since October 2013. She has a passion for Messy Church as well as hands-on experience.

What is Messy Church? It’s a non-traditional way of being church that fosters intergenerational relationships through creativity, celebration, and hospitality. The Messy Church movement began in the UK and has spread throughout the world. It’s been described as a fresh expression of church that offers families an opportunity to come together to be, to make, to eat, and to celebrate God.

  • What they’re saying…

I spent about 2 years enjoying Jubilatte’s warm inviting atmosphere. I’d drink coffee while my kids played in the play area. It was in Jubilatte that I met and began to form relationships with church members and also Pastor Jeremy. When we decided to start attending Sunday worship, it was clear to me what an impact Jubilatte had on my family’s life. Tigard UMC is where we belong. I’m not sure if we would have discovered that if it wasn’t for Jubilatte.
